The infection is remote. BUT if you had any cut and the girl had HIV like that, there is a REMOTE possibility, you might get HIV. To have the peaceful mind, you may go for the HIV test so that you can rule out this.

Hello Sir/Madam, I'm afraid that I might have been exposed to HIV risk and I'd like to ask some questions. Here is my story: three days ago i went to bed with a sex worker l. I did not have any Sexual intercourse with her, but I fingered her and rubbed her Vulva. I must say i tried not to completely go over her vagina But there is one thing that worries me more than everything. During fingering I rubbed my fingers hard over her clitoris and probably my fingers touched her vagina as well. But i didnot insert my finger in her Vagina . I got a wet sensation and yellowish sticky material at the tips on the front side( palm side) of fingers . After which i washed my fingers with a soap. I Latter noticed that i had few headnails on those fingers but no blood on it. Could i be at a risk of contracting HIV . I am very stressed out due to the though of contracting aids. Please Help

There very low chance. OR Nil chance only. In this way, one may not get HIV. The fear is purely psychological.

I had an unprotucted sex with an women 1 year back and after 4 of that insident i took a hiv antibody test and its negative and i repeat the same after 7 month and after 1 yesr ,its all negative.The tests i took is EIA and tridot and retroscreen .I just ask thru net to a doctor and he tell me that i need to too a PCR test to confirm the status .Just tell me about the testings and the maximum window period

There is less possibility in contacting HIV like this. If you still feel that you might have contracted HIV, go for the test and feel free.

If the condom was used, you need not worry about it, provided, the condom did not tear during the sexual act. As far as getting pregnancy is concerned, it can happen even if there was a small leak. If the above factors are ruled out means, the worry may be purely Pschological. The preiod may be delayed due to some othher reason also.

Dear Friend, when you entered in to a physical relations with your sir( now your husband), you were just 16. It was sweet sixteen, what you had was just an infatuation, later develpoed as love and got married also.
Such a situatio, when you come across the other boy and had acrush also. Really speaking, if you love a person really, you would not have thought of thesecond person at all.
What you are doing is dangerous and it is suggested that yiou may just go with your husband withwhom you had pre martial sexual relations also. You should not think of the other boy, who is disturbing your sleep. If you fall for him, there will be problem in your marriage life. As you have stated that your husband also knows this fact, better to full stop it now and love your husband 100%.
If you say that the feeling you have for the boy is ok, what is the guarantee that you will not fall in similar trap later with some one. This will affect your married like.

Dear Doctor, I have some doubt of hiv , i had sex with a lady about 7 months and because of hiv fear i had take a tridot test after 4 months and after 6 months also, both are negative and , some one said tridot is outdated and then i took an elisa also from a lab after 7 months ,it is also negative, but they put a remark that "its a screening test and it has to confirm with WB Test" this make me more confuse ,pls advise me , what is the window period and about the test.

The feeling is just Psychological, you need not worry about it. Hereafter, you should be careful about it and the life is very precious.

SIR, actually i belong to very poor family but my father taught me in very good school with priviledged children. somehow i struggled to complete my engineering from good college got job in TCS as software engineer.my problem is that still i am not free from family responsibilities and i feel difficulty in intermingling with people specially girls as i lead a life of a person who always walked alone. i don't know how to make friends and groups.sometimes or manytimes i tried no one has given positive response.somethings i still can't do i.e. going parties and hangout together. then what should i do leave the things as it is or you have some suggestions.one thing more my cultural background is very strong a typical brahamin who always remained vegetarian in eating,talking,thinking.please help me i also want to enjoy my social life

Dear friend, it is the outlook only you are talking. You can very well adjust with the situation and lead a good social life. You may follow the tips given below.

1. First and formost, never think that you are supreme and people come to you and talk to you.
2.You should go down to people and try to mingle with them with some introduction.
3. It may be difficult to move very fast, so look for like minded people in a group of people working.
4. First smile at people and greet them warmly and go tothem and introduce yourself etc.
5. If you are really talented, you acn help some one in need, he/she will understand you if you voluntarily go and help them
6. Never ever feel that you are alone because there are people around you, only thiong ios that you are NOT taking the initiative.
7. Look for some male friends,who have the interest like you.
8. Never think that you are from orthodox family and others fall in some other category.
9. You go on working well and think positive, some one in the opposite sex alos will come and speak to you. BUT the key is with you i.e INITIATIVE.

Above all, try to enjoy whatever happening around you or the atmosphere in live in. Unless you atke the initiative, you will a FISH out of WATER.

i am worried over the issue that i might get hiv as 6 years back i had a two month long unprotected sex with a girl as i didnt know about her hiv status(most probaly she is not infected as she is married now)..i almost forget if i got any initial symptoms.but in 2005 i had my gallstone operation and my blood report was fine pre surgery but i didn had a hiv test..After that i had fever once or twice within these years and recently got few rashes(ringworms-maybe due to athlete supporter i wear during my workouts).just recently i had mild jaundice and fever..and i took a CBC,LFT,WIDAL test where my blood counts were normal.would my cbc count be abnormal all these years without hiv treatment if i pressume to be infected ? am really worried as i get panic attacks also thinkin of being infected..my health condition is fine at the moment....i am too scared to get an hiv test done as i stay all alone and its already 6 years..what should i do ? please help..

You need not worry about the HIV test. Its all kept secret. If test it, once for all you will be away from all worries, which is haunting yiou for the last six years.
First visit a Inegrated Counselling and Testing Centres (ICTC), they will also do pre counselling and post counselling.

As you were not aware of the HIV status of the women you can not take any chances. Any sexual contact especially the insertive sex will put in negative position. So, it is better to get tested and get away from the worries, you have been going through.

Dear Friend, its fine. AS you had sex with four boys according to your statement and you were not aware of their sexual behaviour. It is better to test yourself for HIV so that it will not disturb you later. If you had HIV and if your husband comes to know about it after some time there will be a trouble. As far as the sexual relations concerned, your husband will not come to know about it unless he is a doctor.
So, it is suggetsed to go for the HIV test and you can be mentally free from the worries and you can start a FRESH Life. The tests centres keep all records secret, so you need not worry about secrecy about your report also.

It is better to go for the test after the window period is over.

Hello from India, I have some questions in my mind regarding HIV. Can we get HIV infection through eating food having HIV+ blood or water that has HIV+ blood? Second question, it could be my anxiety, I have tested for HIV on 1st Dec, 2009 but I forgot to see the lab asistant to see whether he used a new syringe or not? He have also showed me some of HIV positive blood sample he have from people who got HIV positive test but they haven't come back to get their result. Now, what my mind said is that If he dip the syringe in the blood and collected my blood for test. I am NEGATIVE in the test. Then, after a month and half, I got tonsils problems with high fever but cured within 2 days with Paracetamol tablets and Amoxillin 250mg. I have heard that if somebody have HIV+ and if he has got fever then it can't be cured with normal medication even in the initial stages. Is it correct? That's what my counselor have told me. Then, for that I again goes to the same lab assistant and got tested again and NEGATIVE again, but this anxiety is not going to stop about the HIV infection. Please elaborate with some examples. The issue is just Psychological. Leave all these away and go for fresh thinking. The Lab attendent will be more careful than you as he/she has to test so many blood samples from different kinds of people.

It is really intersting to know about your Interst on your Son. First tell the healtghy habits to the kids. Then explain about the body functions, then explain about different organs. lastly you can tell about the marriage and how the genearions are coming up.
If you teach him about good habits, he will not go for any such thing now. BUT it has to be told in a very scientific manner. There are good manuals there in India to teach health to the kids and adolescents.
